As part of Women in Construction Week 2026, NAWIC Philadelphia Chapter 145 is honored to participate in a special Philadelphia City Council Meeting recognizing the contributions and impact of women across the construction industry.

This meaningful moment in City Hall highlights the leadership, innovation, and resilience of women working in the trades, project management, safety, engineering, development, and executive leadership. Together, we celebrate the progress made — and the work still ahead — to expand opportunities for women in nontraditional careers.

Join us as we stand in unity with Women In Nontraditional Careers (WINC) https://philaworks.org/winc/ , The Philadelphia Chapter of Professional Women in Construction (PWC) https://pwc-philly.org/, and the National Association of Black Women In Construction (NABWIC) https://nabwic.org/ in recognition of the powerful role women play in shaping the built environment of our city and beyond.

This gathering represents collaboration, visibility, and collective advocacy. It is a powerful reminder that when women across organizations stand together, we strengthen our voice, our impact, and our future.
