The Byberry North Business Center . 

Constructed on the site of the former Byberry State Hospital located in the Somerton section of Northeast Philadelphia. The project will span a sizable lot at the northern corner of Roosevelt Boulevard and Southampton Road. This project location is ideally located to be able to serve the city of Philadelphia and the surrounding areas given its close proximity to major roadways throughout the region as well as Philaport.

The speculative warehouse development includes two logistics buildings that are 318,696 SF and 338,208 SF, respectively, for a total of 656,904 SF of usable space. The project also includes offsite improvements and all associated sitework. Each building will include 3,000 SF of speculative office space.

This project is a result of a 20-year effort on behalf of Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) to redevelop the former Byberry State Hospital in an intentional and meaningful way that provides jobs and opportunities to Philadelphians and build upon the city’s strength as a hub for logistics. The new logistics will transform this location into a viable economic asset and bring growth to the city. This investment further demonstrates Philadelphia’s unique strengths as a business destination.
